Your son's road bike is the coolest...

Is Briar ready for a summer of racing?

new bike?
I wish i was your kid :)....haha looks like a fun and loving times on your side
Adorable kids! Great race report. Sounds like the wind made it tough and it is amazing how miscalculating so close to the finish is so taxing on us during a marathon.
Great Christmas pictures Lana. I really like the horse pictures.
You asked about my training program. I'm using the 18W-55MPW schedule from Pete Pfitzinger's “Advanced Marathoning”. I haven't a clue how I'll do with my upcoming marathon, but this training plan has forced me to be a better runner. I cut my running from 6 days/week to 5 days/week and jacked up the weekly mileage from 30 to 50+. But the extra mileage was actually incidental, it just comes along for the ride. What I really enjoy is the variety. No two weeks are alike and you never get bored, although it does take more discipline than other programs I've used. If you have the chance, I’d suggest you take a look at it. Although some weeks are a real kick in the head, it will whip you into shape and give you the confidence to kick it into high gear after 20 miles.
What great pictures! You have a beautiful family, and I love your haircut!! :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Nice bike! Love the pics. Especially the horse pics. Makes me miss my horse. Glad is was a nice X-mas.
Nice holiday pictures. Riding a horse looks so relaxing.
The kids got some really cool gifts.
Awesome Pics thanks Lana for sharing!!... I remember my bikes...ahhh good times.
My first bike, my dad didn't tighten the handle bars good enough and I tried to pull a wheely and all I was holding was the handle bars---
funny thing was my Dad said I was laughing so hard I pee'd. cuz I fell off and the bike kept going down the hill and I guess I thought that was hilarious ... I of course don't remember that part--lolol I just remember HOLDING the handle bars :-(
Christmas childhood memories U got to love them :-)
Bob
aww. Great pictures. I think my daughter got that same guitar.
What a great looking group of pics! It looks like a perfect Christmas.
Fab pics! Have a Happy New Year!
Stay tuned...
Happy New Year!! :o)
Great pictures of your family. Your boys are cute!
I just caught up on your race report too. You gave it everything you had and then some - and even though it wasn't the time you wanted, it was an awesome time. Heavy winds, light on fuel, and a 4:08? Pretty good I'd say.
I know how much those messed up mile markers can set you back. We had that in UWR when a volunteer told us we were at mile 18 and it was actually more like 15. Man, it was a struggle after that. You did good.
Some great pic Lana! Happy New Year...
Such great pics! It looks like it was an amazing Christmas!
