Ecclesiastes 3:1 - 8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate, a time of war, and a time of peace.

So hard to balance everything. Way to master it.
Sounds like you are sticking true to your resolution~wonderful!
All your boys are so darn cute. :)
The boys will grow up way too fast and you only get one chance to get it right. Give them the time they need.
what sweet boys indeed, hope all is well...the workout time will come
Thanks for the reminder of what is truely importanat in our lives. They do grow up so fast.
Hopefully one day we will all grow up in a "time of peace".
That reminds me of Kevin Bacon's speech at city hall in the movie, Footloose.
The number of times I've told myself "this is only a season..."! Glad to hear you're able to step back and see the bigger picture. :)
Priorities in order - check...
Stay strong...
Sounds good to me.
Interesting about taht quote b/c i read it just over the weekend.
For me, i consider myself as a Christian Triathlete. This means Christian first, triathlete second.
Btw, is the kid's shirt say 'I will not make harley davidson noise in class'?
OK .. I certainly agree that you need to balance your family and your training, most of us are in the same boat with you; but that doesn't mean that you neglect your training. You are a mother, a wife and a darn good athlete. Continuing your training might mean that you get up a little earlier to get that run in and ensure that it does not take away from the time your spend with your boys and husband. Like me, you can't possibly get in all the hours some people seem to do, but I would caution you not to let your fitness level slip.
When I read Yvonne's description of her mother, it almost brings tears to my eyes. To have had a parent that you always look up to as the model of health is something that I can only hope to pass onto my children. You are setting a very high bar for what your sons will expect from women. I believe they'll thank you in the future (assuming they can find anyone like you).
...a time to dance...
I love to be brought to the point of not being inhibited so that I am free to dance.
Enjoy life and peace.
What handsome men you have in your life.
You are a lucky girl.
