"All that" is not OK. Trying harder to be supermom may not be the complete answer.

Revisit your expectations concerning tri-mom-house-cleaner-cook-wife of the year, and be critical of those expectations. Even without an Ironman, you have to be able to say that this project or that clutter is not as important as taking care of me right this moment. When the plane depressurizes, you have to put on your own oxygen mask before assisting those who may be traveling with you. Plus, just because it needs to be done, does not mean you are the right person to do it. If it's important enough to be done, it's also worth delegating.

If you just keep doing what you've done before but expect different results, that's not gonna happen.greyhoundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01177698669715595307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19820661.post-37207942582636430152009-03-04T05:46:00.000-06:002009-03-04T05:46:00.000-06:00What?Starving feeling is not good? However, it is suppose to be in the 70's the weekend, but today only 30!

I usually take planning meals one step further. On the weekends or days when I have time, I prep all the food that I will be using. Sometimes it is a pain, but during the week when I am running late it is nice knowing that I just pull something out an cook it, no chopping, peeling, etc.

I don't do this, though I should, but leave healthy snakes around (car, office) that way of you get tied up you can snack on food that will hold you over till you can get to healthier food.

Keep with it, you're doing fine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19820661.post-13747907462093185002009-03-02T12:15:00.000-06:002009-03-02T12:15:00.000-06:00That fresh snow looks like tons of fun. Stock up the freezer and cupboard with these things. Then if you are split in three, you don't have to think.

Also, how about having some quick, but healthy snacks on hand? Oatcakes are great for low fat carbs, fruit and raw veg are great for on-the-go, low in calaries but high in vitamines and taste good too!SC's Adventureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05220808584903375983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19820661.post-71434089177664988032009-03-02T11:39:00.000-06:002009-03-02T11:39:00.000-06:00SHHHEEEEIIIITTT, I don't even know how you were do...SHHHEEEEIIIITTT, I don't even know how you were doing it in the first place without starving all the time. I'm in the boat with you, though. As long as I have 'time to plan' - I'm good. Just doesn't always happen that way.
